For this Weekly Me words escape me.  I know many of us have experienced a tragedy from a distance.  The event has the capability of rocking our world for a brief amount of time but we are not directly linked in anyway.

Last Friday, a beautiful young 13 year old girl, Kaely Camacho, tragically lost her life due to a hit and run accident.  I never had the chance to meet her, nor did I know her parents.  I only know of people in my life that did know her or her family.  It is close enough where you feel a deep sense of pain for what all those left behind are going through; even the man who caused the accident.

Of course life is precious and we should not waste a moment but that’s not what my purpose in writing this is for.

I will never be able to do this in person but I’m still sending a warm embrace full of love for her parents and older sister who lost so much.  I’m hoping somehow it finds its way and offers just even a second of peace and comfort during this time.

For the man who made a choice that morning and caused a horrific tragedy I also send love.  I do not live in a glass house and cannot condemn him.  I’m sure if given the choice to turn back the clock he would make a different choice.

No words can take away pain such as this.  I’ll send love instead.

    Until next time…

Devoted to Me begins with me and continues to you.  Accept it.  Pass it on.
